As I mentioned in past news announcements, we have adopted a continuous release model for our learning management system, Brighspace by D2L (or D2L for short). This means that we get any improvements and additions as soon as they are tested and released to client institutions such as Augusta University.

We just got to D2L version 10.6.0. Here is a complete list of what this version brings. Most exciting to me is the addition of the course access progress indicator to the existing User Progress feature (previously a premium features, now a standard feature).

As of this release, browser support for D2L has changed as follows:

• Microsoft® Internet Explorer®:
  • IE9 is no longer supported
  • IE10 and IE11 are now in maintenance mode.
•  Safari:
  • Previous versions of Safari (including Safari 6, 7, and 8) are now in maintenance mode
  • The latest version of Safari® is now supported
• Microsoft® Edge web browser is now supported.
