I am twice honored regarding this year’s Online Learning Consortium Accelerate conference, held November 9 – 20 in Orlando, FL and online.
First, I was invited to review conference proposals in the leadership track. The caliber of these presentations was high, and most every one of them addressed some aspect of the emergency response to the pandemic. If you are in the world of online education, you will not want to miss this conference!
Second, I am honored that my own proposal was accepted, so I hope to see you at OLC Accelerate 2020, where I’ll deliver a presentation titled “Chief online education officers (COEOs): We love them, we need them, but how can we best support them in these uncertain COVID-19 times?” — I am essentially premiering the findings of my 2019 doctoral research and adding implications for COEOs and their senior leadership during the pandemic.
