Augusta University is now offering a 15-credit hour undergraduate certificate in Asian Studies. To earn the certificate, students will need:
- 6 credits obtained in one of the following ways:
- a 2-semester sequence of an Asian language (CHNS 1001 and 1002 or approved language transfer credits)
- 6 credit hours earned on Asia Study Abroad trips
- a 3-credit hour Asian language course (CHNS 1001 or approved language transfer credits) plus 3-credit hours earned on an Asia Study Abroad trip
- 9 credits of upper level Asian Study courses with 60%+ Asian content. (such as CTCM 7000, 7010; HIST 3211, 3220, 3250; and POLS 4801).
