Dr. Travis Neal is a Doctor of Strategic Leadership as well as a KC-135 pilot in the United States Air Force. He recently completed four years with Air University’s Global College of Professional Military Education, where he served as a Course Director for the Leadership Concentration of their Online Master’s Program, and also developed and taught multiple online and in-residence elective courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

This November 8, I have the distinct pleasure of co-presenting with Dr. Neal at the USDLA National Distance Learning Week conference. For the first time, we are combining his research on power dynamics with my research on Chief Online Education Offices (COEO) to present to you a way to measure and enact COEO empowerment.
