The Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (IELOL) started with three weeks of pre-immersion in which I got to:

• know my faculty and cohort,
• interview a senior leader at my institution to identify an opportunity for me to research and implement,
• focused on the importance of institutional branding
• discussed the importance of a leader’s ability to switch in between strategic and operational initiatives.
