As part of a friendly, college-wide, Dental College of Georgia leadership-sanctioned effort, I have requested to meet with every DCG course director from March 1st on. During these meetings, I’ll not only get to meet our course directors and introduce myself, but I’ll also get to know their expert thoughts on:

• the nature of the courses they direct
• where these courses fall in the curriculum
• what current or anticipated needs there are (for the courses themselves and/or the faculty teaching them) that I can meet with my services and training.

If these meetings bring up instructional technology and/or research needs, I’ll make referrals to  that my DCG instructional systems analyst and librarian counterparts.

In process of organizing this effort to meet with our talented faculty, I got to also coordinate with each department Chair and admin assistant. It is such a joy and honor to get to meet and serve the people that make the DCG great!
