Echoing message from Augusta University Facilities Planning, Design and Construction
The Cancer Research Center expansion project is well underway, and the time has come to detour traffic on part of Laney-Walker Boulevard.
The detour is expected to last for approximately 15 months and is scheduled to start on Oct. 24.
During this detour period, Laney-Walker Boulevard will be accessible only from 15th Street, with no access from R.A. Dent Boulevard.
The following buildings will be directly affected:
- Cancer Center
- Cancer Center parking deck
- Kelly Administration Building
- Central Warehouse
- Wellness Center
- Student Health
