Recently, the GRU WebEx environment was the target of malicious activity. As part of our security investigation, Cisco has recommended that we make modifications to all GRU WebEX environments to avoid these problems in the future.  The following changes will be made on Friday October 9, at 5:00pm.

1.       Global call in numbers will be disabled by default.

a.       If there is a business requirement to have someone call in globally, we can enable this feature on an account by account basis.  Please contact IT before your meeting to make sure this feature is enabled on your account.

2.       Make all meetings private by default.

3.       Password codes will be required for all meetings.

a.       All new and recurring meetings extending beyond November 1 will require a password.

b.      Previously scheduled, non-recurring meetings will not be impacted.
